CONSULTATION & RECOMMENDATION ON POLICY-MAKING
| Since
1957 and with an assignment of Ministry
of Health, the Center has been responsible
for the secretariat work of the National
Scientific Research Group of Leprosy,
the National Committee of Research
on Sexually Transmitted Diseases &
Leprosy (1959), the Group on Leprosy
of the National Programme on Scientific
Research, MOH (1978), the National
Consultation Group of Leprosy Control
& Research (1982), the National
Experts Advisory Group of Leprosy
Control & Research (1989), and
the Leprosy Experts Advisory Committee
of MOH (1992- ). Prof. Hu Chuankui,
Porf. Ye Ganyun, Prof. Li Wenzhong
and Prof. Zhang Guocheng of the Center
were the directors or chairmen of
the group or committee one after another.
The Center has played a role on providing
consultancy, recommendations and advisory
to policy-making on leprosy control
in China. |
