SURVEILLANCE
 Under
the leadership of MOH, the National Leprosy
Surveillance System has been coordinated
by the Center and become one of its responsibilities
assigned by MOH. Data on individual records
for near 500,000 leprosy cases have been
collected and a series of relevant databases
have been set up. The information based
on the Surveillance System has provided
an important evidence for timely understanding
the leprosy epidemiological situation and
effectively updating the leprosy control
strategies. |
