Working closely with the mass media, the Center has implemented extensive activities on health education of leprosy. In 1985, the Center assisted MOH to organize the National Conference of Leprosy Propaganda in Nanjing. Meanwhile, the Center has organized various health education and celebration activities, visited leprosy and ex-leprosy patients as well as leprosy workers, and coordinated and accompanied leaders from MOH to visit patients at leprosy hospitals.
